Originally from the UK, Laura Parr is a yoga teacher and therapist based in Central Portugal. With a background in nursing and public health, Laura has a passion for helping people find wellness. She teaches classes and workshops in Portugal and the UK.


Opening the heart centre
A gentle, flowing yoga sequence designed to open the heart centre. The emphasis is on deepening awareness of the body and mind and the sequence is followed by a deep relaxation.

Return to the earth
A gentle, flowing yoga sequence designed to help us reconnect to the earth. The emphasis is on grounding through the breath and focusing on the downward flow of energy. The sequence is followed by a deep relaxation.

Yoga nidra
Find a state of conscious relaxation with yoga nidra. Lie in a comfortable position and allow me to guide you on a journey around the body. We will work with intention to create real and lasting change in our lives. The workshop includes breathwork and visualisation.

Yoga nidra
Lie down and consciously relax with yoga nidra as I guide you on a tour of your body. We will work with intention to formulate real and lasting change in our lives. The session will include a brief discussion followed by a deep relaxation including breathwork and visualisations.

Accessible chair yoga
An accessible yoga workshop for the elderly or physically disabled. We will move through a series of seated postures followed by some standing poses using the chair to help us balance. We will end with a seated meditation.

Yoga nidra helps us consciously relax. We will work with intention to formulate real and lasting change in our lives. Lie down and allow me to take you on a tour of your body. The session will involve breath work and visualisation as well as a short discussion. It is designed to be deeply relaxing.

A gentle, flowing sequence to help us reconnect to the earth beneath our feet. We will focus on moving with the breath and on the downward movement of energy, and will finish with a deep relaxation.
